Malcolm M. Burges, Jr. is owner, and head coach of BodyWorks Fitness/Nutrition, LLC. He is the creator of the M3 Turbo Shred Program (formerly Metabolic Weight Loss/Body Transformation Program). A program that integrates advance assessment, exercise and nutrition program design into the treatment of chronic disease, disability and obesity. He has assisted hundreds of clients who have been able to manage or recover completely from the following diseases: obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and multiple sclerosis, through their participation in the M3 Turbo Shred Program.
Mr. Burges is trained in Functional Diagnostic Medicine, and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. He holds advance certifications in CHEK Exercise Coach, and CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Level 1 from the prestigious CHEK Institute with specializations in Corrective exercise and High-Performance Exercise Kinesiology.
Mr. Burges is trained in Myofascial release increasing mobility and range of motion in joint, and muscles utilizing therapy balls. He is graduate of National Personal Training Institute of Chicago, Illinois and holds advanced personal training certifications from National Personal Training Institute and the Wellness Certification Commission.
Utilization of functional lab assessment in identification of the complex mix of causes of a person’s health conditions then utilizes the latest research finding on supplements, diet and other natural tools for restoring balance in the body’s primary physiological processes.
Utilization of functional lab assessments and client intake methods to develop highly indivualized targeted protocols to build health and enhance performance placing focus on the hormone, immune, digestion, detoxification, energy production and nervous systems.
Considers the body as a “system of systems” in identifying the underlying causes of disease and stress and how they are preventable through healthy eating habits, lifestyle management and appropriate types of exercise.
